Jon Lech Johansen is the co-founder and CEO of doubleTwist. His background is in digital media interoperability, having worked on the reverse engineering of proprietary systems such as DVD CSS that prevent consumers from enjoying media they've legally acquired. Prior to co-founding doubleTwist Jon worked for DoubleTwist Ventures and MP3Tunes, a digital music startup in San Diego. He is a self-taught software engineer whose passion is making technology accessible to ordinary users through polished and intuitive user interfaces. Monique Farantzos is the co-founder and President of doubleTwist. Prior to doubleTwist, she was the Managing Director of DoubleTwist Ventures, a DRM interoperability company. She has also been a consultant for Intellectual Ventures and a Director at the Miller Porter Group, a consulting firm focused on the Life Sciences and Biotechnology industries. Sebastiaan de With is doubleTwist's Chief Creative Officer. Originally from the Netherlands, Sebastiaan is a self-taught designer with a long history of designing products and user interfaces for companies like Apple, HP, T-Mobile, HTC, Sony, EA and many more. He has been featured in numerous Dutch newspapers, international design publications, is a frequent speaker at major design events, and has led workshops about user interface design and the process of creating beautiful and intuitive experiences. Lucas Dickey is doubleTwist's Head of Product. Prior to doubleTwist, he was product manager with Amazon MP3, Amazon's digital music store accessible in 7 countries and across a multitude of devices/platforms (including PC, Mac, Android, Blackberry, Palm), where he devised and developed Amazon Cloud Player and Amazon Cloud Drive, as well as releasing improvements to the Amazon MP3 Downloader and numerous underlying back-end systems. Prior to product management, Lucas spent 6 years in digital music content operations at both Amazon MP3 and MediaNet (where he managed the operational relationship with all digitally-distrbuted independent content providers -- including IODA, IRIS, The Orchard, CD Baby and more -- and through the launch of Zune's music service, as well as Yahoo Music Unlimited, MTV's Urge, and the UK digital music services of HMV and Tesco). Vidya Ravella is doubleTwist's Vice President of Marketing and also manages strategic partnerships that enhance distribution of the doubleTwist platform. Prior to doubleTwist, she ran marketing at Servo (now Kii), a Khosla Ventures-backed mobile start-up where she defined the brand and launched user trials and co-marketing with global carriers such as China Mobile and Singtel/Optus. She also held various roles at Walt Disney Company working in marketing, business development and account management. She handled the marketing launch for Disney's mobile offering and was the primary contact for the corporate alliances with HP, Visa, Siemens, Kodak and OfficeMax.
